Basketball - Kentucky Wildcats vs Duke

On March 27, 1978 Kentuchky's Jack 'Goose' Givens put on one of the finest individual performances in NCAA Championship history in leading the Kentucky Wildcats past the Duke Blue Devils 94 to 88 for the schools fifth NCAA title. All night long the Goose was cookin, working the baseline, popping from the corners and sneaking into the middle for a career high 41 points. So dominant was Givens performance that only fellow senior Rick Robey, who shot eight of 11 scored 20 points and led Kentucky with 11 rebounds was able to break into double figures.
